Many tutors completed initial Prevent training in the autumn term of 2015. Just as safeguarding training should be updated every 2 years, Prevent Duty training also should be updated.  If tutors did their initial Prevent Duty training more than 2 years ago, they should now complete the Home Office online module (link above).

The Government have developed two additional online training packages for Prevent, in addition to the introductory package. The two packages have been designed to be completed after an individual has completed the introduction to Prevent module, WRAP or another introductory package and they assume that the individual has a baseline knowledge of Prevent:
