We’re starting to review our Observation procedure and want to ensure that a key aim is developing teaching and learning, not just monitoring.

With this aim in mind we need tutors’ feedback on the current procedures.  Think about the last observation you had.  Do you feel you got enough time when you had feedback from your observer?   Was it a 2-way dialogue?  Did your own reflection about the session come into that discussion?  If time is an issue, would it be appropriate to have feedback over the phone or via Skype rather than face-to-face?

Make your voice heard in the discussion – Let us know what you think using the poll questions below.

Any other comments about the observation process?  Please leave a reply using the comment box at the bottom of the page to feed back to us.  Many thanks.
